Shuttle XS36VL Barebone Sort

Fanless slim PC with two digital video outputs. XS36VL with low-energy Intel Atom D2550 processor is the successor of Shuttle's XS36V. It is just 36 mm thin and completely passively cooled - that means: it is not only quiet, but also virtually maintenance free. Three different monitor ports (HDMI, DVI-D, VGA) allow a flexible choice of screen types.

Fanless and whisper-quiet.

This is where an energy-saving "Solid State Drive" is put to use. Supports dual monitoring.
For increased screen area the two monitor outputs (DVI+VGA) can be connected to one display each. Depending on the settings, the output image can be duplicated or expanded on the second screen.

Just 2.5" HDDs.
An extremely compact PC housing offers less space for drives, that's why this Mini-PC uses slimline 2.5-inch hard disks. The advantage of this is that there's less noise, less heat generated and reduced power consumption. However small hard disks in a small housing does not have to mean less memory. Modern 2.5" HDDs are every bit as good as their 3.5" brothers.
Compatible with Microsoft Windows 7.
This Shuttle Mini-PC is ideally prepared for the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. Updating to the new version couldn't be simpler.
Optimal air flow.
Warm air is transported out of the chassis by means of cleverly arranged components, which enables a large number of parts to be cooled simultaneously in the air flow. At no time can heat build up and adversely affect the stability of the system.
