High-speed Contrast AF System with Inner Focus System
This lens incorporates inner focus system driven by a stepping motor. When mounted on the cameras of Lumix G, it also enhances the high speed Contrast AF system during still and video recording.

The 7 aperture blades create a circular aperture diaphragm and produces an attractive smoothness in out-of-focus areas even when shooting at a large aperture.
 
Multi-coating Process
In addition to a standard broadband anti-reflection coating, Lumix G/Leica DG lenses reduce the reflection of light entering at an angle. Widely used on fisheye and ultra-wide-angle lenses, this coating greatly improves results when shooting against a light source, resulting in high quality images with superb clarity.
