The name "Elten Fire-Proof" is incorporated in the new fire brigade footwear from Elten: Uppers and soles made of fireproof material, fire-resistant seams and laces are standard in the new development and are in accordance with state-of-the-art technology. But the Elten Fire-Proof has even more to offer: The high-quality fire brigade boot is equipped with the second generation of the Safety-Grip sole technology and therefore offers incomparable protection against slipping based on the latest scientific findings.
Quality, safety and comfort are the trademarks of Elten's foot protection concept. This also applies to the new safety boot for firemen. The Elten Fire-Proof was developed paying special attention to working practices and is still comfortable to wear even after lengthy deployments. This is made possible by the modern Safety Grip sole that supports the natural rolling of the foot and significantly reduces signs of fatigue.
This special sole technology combines the latest generation with a particularly sturdy and non-slip profile - with 6.5 millimetre profile depth and a steeply inclined front to the heel for a secure grip on ladder rungs, the Elten Fire-Proof offers excellent grip in every situation. Thanks to its special rubber compound, the outsole does not slip so easily on smooth or damp surfaces and will withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees for short periods.
In terms of comfort, the new Elten Fire-Proof also knows how to score points. A flexible heel bulb, full-length inlay soles and soft cushioning of the shaft, ankle, tongue and collar areas prevent pressure points and facilitate movement – even after many hours. In addition, a modern climatic membrane keeps the foot warm and dry even during wind and weather, but still allows the foot to breathe.
Another plus point: Besides reliable burn protection, the new Elten Fire-Proof also offers certified cut protection in compliance with DIN EN ISO 17249 and is therefore also suitable for evacuation deployments, e.g. at traffic accidents that require the use of plate shears or steel cutters. Not only do the high-quality, fireproof and watertight cowhide leather, practical reflectors and an exchangeable combination zip fastener ensure safety and comfort of the new fire brigade boot, but also make it look really good.
The new Elten Fire-Proof is available in sizes 36 to 50 and was tested according to strict quality specifications and certified in accordance with DIN EN 15090:2006, HI3, F2A (type 2), Style C as well as in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17249 class 1 (20 m/s).
